Died 10 June 1752 in Antigua – a note in his father’s diary on June 14th “My dear son Waltie who was carried off with a malignant fever and ulcerated sore throat on the 10th inst”.

1914 Annie, Gertrude and Alfreda Tilliduff  25th September 1914 Annie, Gertrude and Alfreda left London on the SS Orsova bound for Adelaide, Australia, joining William.

1919 William Tilliduff was involved in a railway accident: – The railway authorities reported on September 6 that on the previous evening a train, which left the South-terrace station at about half-past 6 o’clock, crashed into a horse and masher dray, driven by Mr. W. J. Tilliduff, of Marion-road, Plympton. The accident happened at the level crossing at the South Plympton station, which Mr. Tilliduff, who was accompanied by his wife, attempted to cross in front of the approaching train in charge of Driver W. J. Gibbs, but for whose promptness the consequences might have been more serious. The vehicle was smashed to pieces, and the horse was killed on the spot, but the occupants were fortunately thrown clear of the engine. Mr. Tiiliduff had his right leg broken near the thigh and his wife was severely bruised. Mr. Tilliduff was conveyed to the Adelaide Hospital after arrangements had been made by Constable Noblet, of Glenelg, but Mrs. Tilliduff was able to go home. The Adelaide Chronicle 13 Sept 1919

1928 ADELAIDE, Monday.- William John Tilliduff, aged 56 years, dairyman, of McLaren Vale, who was gored by a bull on Thursday, died in the Adelaide Hospital to-day.  The Argus (Melbourne, Vic. : 1848-1954) Wednesday 16 May 1928

Mr. W. J. TILLIDUFF    Mr. William John Tilliduff, of McLaren Vale, who was attacked by a young bull on his property and was admitted to the Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition, succumbed to his injuries. Mr. Tilliduff, who took up a dairying farm at McLaren Vale recently, went from Brighton, where he was engaged in a similar business. He originally hailed from England, and spent many years in the employ of the Woolwich Arsenal. Mr. Tilliduff was of a jovial disposition, and was highly respected by those who knew him, and deep regret is expressed at his untimely end. South Africa

On May 1st 1947 Frederick CharlesTilliduff and his family, comprising his wife Evelyn and children Malcolm Charles and Daphne Ann, departed from Southampton aboard the “Capetown Castle” bound for Cape Town in South Africa (recorded as Talliduff).

Evelyn died in 1953 and Frederick remarried some time afterwards in Cape Town to Sheila Bagshaw (born in 1910 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa), who passed away on 21st December 1957.  He then married Jessie Gwendolyn Robertson in 1959 (she was born Boyes in Brentford, Middlesex, England in 1906).  Frederick passed away in 1981. Death 16th January 1981 at Protea Place, Bergandal Road, Constantia, Cape Province, South Africa. The London Gazette, May 27th 1981
